36 weeks and counting

If you saw my first blog post with Hannah back in August, you’ll know that this final maternity shoot was on the cards for months, we had pencilled in January 24th and waited for her little bump to grow! The overwhelming excitement when snow fell the night before made this day so much more special. Hannah and her Husband, Matt, arrived just in between severe snow fall. The sun decided to show its face for 20 minutes, just enough time to go for a perfect winter stroll in one of my favourite countryside locations behind my cottage.

My home town looks pretty glorious all times of year but on this day, it looked particularly perfect. Hannah and Matt were suited and booted and I have to say, editing this shoot was absolute PLEASURE for the eyes. I can’t wait to meet their wonderful bundle of joy and from the sounds of it, it won’t be long as Hannah started slow labour, exciting or what?!

Being able to capture this journey for this amazing couple was total bliss, I feel so honoured that I was able to lock these memories down for them and create a gallery that they can look upon for years to come. Maternity stories have become a new favourite of mine and I hope that more of these will be in store for me in the future!
