All that Julia and Nick wanted was to be married, they had tried countless times to organise a simple ceremony with Julia’s growing bump in tow, with the plan to have a larger party in Sweden later on. Covid obviously had other plans.
However, in Wales ceremonies were still go throughout the entire winter lockdown. They had booked a ceremony for 6 in North Wales in my home town. When Julia got in touch I was unbelievably excited to photograph this day for them, all socially distanced and covid safe of course, but I was itching to get back out and doing what I love most.
This coverage was 2hrs long, perfect timing for photographs of the ceremony and then a couple shoot afterwards. The ceremony was wonderful, so emotional and heartfelt, the best man streamed the entire thing for Julia and Nicks family and friends to watch and Julia’s sister gave a nod to their own family by doing a Swedish reading. After the confetti throw, we headed over to the grounds near Soughton Hall for a snow dashed couple session and it was all kinds of wonderful.
Capturing the wedding vows for these two was lovely and I’m so excited for them to have their big party with their new baby and family later on when they can truly celebrate being married. Thank you for having me you fabulous trio!
