Born and raised with the ocean by my side. I’m an avid tea drinker who’s passion is photographing people in love on one of the most memorable days of their life. I first realised how much I loved weddings back in 2013 when I started planning my own and I was hooked. With now over 10 years experience in the wedding industry, I feel like I’m legitimately working my dream job.

At the age of 12 I became obsessed with painting, I started photographing the ocean and surfers to use as inspiration for my art, my love for photography slowly overspilled in to my other creative motions and it wasn’t until I started planning my own wedding that I soon realised how much happiness the wedding world brought me. It was a year after marrying the love of my life that I took the plunge and connected the two, photography and weddings. This was one of the best decisions of my life.

I can’t even begin to describe how incredible Sophie is! Besides capturing the most amazing photos, she is just such a wonderful person to have around on your special day. We booked a pre-wedding photo shoot with Sophie as neither of us were comfortable in front of a camera and she immediately put us at ease. We had the most fun at our beach shoot, and we came away so excited to see Sophie again at our wedding.
Before the wedding we ran through some of the specific shots we wanted, and nothing was too much trouble – she was down for anything! On the day, she had made a little playlist of our favourite songs for our couples shoot and it’s the little personal bits that she does that just makes her so incredible. She was our biggest fan girl, blending in perfectly with our friends and family.
It goes without saying that her photos are STUNNING. Everything she takes is magical. Every couple is special to Sophie, and you can feel that every time you talk to her. She brings the vibes, the laughter and the love and she was such a special part of our wedding day.

When my husband thanked Sophie in his wedding speech, he mentioned how I was so desperate to book her for our wedding and that if she wasn’t available I probably would have changed our wedding date… he was 100% spot on. Sophie has been amazing from the get go, so supportive and inspiring with her ideas and helpful tips. On the wedding day Sophie was an absolute dream, so calming in the chaos of the wedding morning, just what I needed to help me stay grounded. My husband and I are not one for taking photos and we were slightly apprehensive about our couple shots, but it actually turned out to be one of my favourite parts of the day. Sophie put us both at ease and we just had fun, exploring our venue grounds and listening to our favourite tunes with a glass of fizz, what’s not to love?

We have just received the final gallery and are in love!
