I’m a North Wales & Shropshire wedding photographer who loves capturing the natural, unscripted moments that make each wedding day unique. My style is relaxed and unobtrusive, I believe in blending into the background, allowing the day to unfold naturally. Instead of directing every shot, I prefer to let things happen organically, focusing on real emotions and authentic connections. I want my couples to feel like themselves, enjoying every moment without feeling like they’re constantly posing for the camera. My goal is to tell the story of the day through candid, meaningful images that reflect the true spirit of the occasion.
One of the things I pride myself on is my ability to capture emotion in its rawest form. Whether it’s the first look, the tearful smile during the vows, or the joy and laughter on the dance floor, I have an eye for those fleeting moments that tell the real story of a wedding. I want my photos to evoke the feelings of the day, those little details and big moments that make each celebration so special. To me, a photograph isn’t just about the scene, it’s about the emotion behind it, and I strive to capture that authenticity in every shot.
When it comes to working with me, I try to keep things fun and lighthearted. I know that wedding days can be stressful, so my goal is to make the experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. I’m there to capture the love, laughter, and everything in between, all while making sure everyone feels comfortable and relaxed. It’s not just about taking photos; it’s about being a part of your celebration and helping to preserve the memories in the most natural, joyful way possible.

Using your information form as my guide, I’ll concentrate on a documentary approach whilst capturing the moments you want without it feeling like a photoshoot.
Step Five
Get the Gallery
I’ll be sending you 20-30 previews within 5 days of your wedding day and your full gallery will be delivered via an online gallery within 10 weeks. Exciting!
Step Six
Order Prints
You’ll be fully connected to your online print store via your gallery with easy design set ups for thank you cards, framed prints, calendars, canvas’ and more. The most perfect shop for gift giving.

About 2 months prior I’ll send you a wedding information form so you can give me all the details for your day. I’m an absolute sucker for details.
Common Questions
I’m based in North Wales, but I cover weddings all over the world.
Travel costs are included in your price when getting married anywhere in the UK. If getting married abroad, your travel fee will need to be paid 6 months prior to your wedding day and it is none refundable. If hiring a second shooter for a destination wedding, there will also be an added charge for their flights.
I’ll arrive around two hours before your ceremony for bridal/groom prep, I will then leave approximately one hour after your first dance. This timescale ensures that you get plenty of dancing photos of yourself with your guests before my coverage comes to a natural end.
To secure me for your day all that’s needed is £500 deposit. I can’t hold dates without this.
Simply get in touch with which package you’re interested in and we’ll book in a video call to talk all things weddings and go over any questions you may have. Once you’re happy, I’ll send you a contract and invoice which will need to be completed and sent to me within 7 days. When received, I’ll forward you my online wedding guide which includes useful tips and supplier recommendations to help you with planning.
I do not. I offer photography only as I want to give 120% to your wedding gallery and cannot do this if I need to concentrate on film too. A second shooter (if added to your package) would also be photo only. I can however, recommend lots of videographers for your day to help you on your search.
I send out 10-15 sneak peeks within a week of your wedding day, you will then receive your full wedding gallery within approx 8 weeks, during busy periods this can be up to 10 weeks.
I am a fully insured, full time wedding photographer.

We were so lucky that so many friends and family from different places were able to make it to our wedding, and so we really wanted the focus of the photos to be on everyone. Sophie understood this completely and caught such lovely moments of everyone interacting. It was so lovely being able to relive the day through her photos, and also being able to see all new moments we weren’t physically around for captured so beautifully.

For us picking our wedding photographer felt like one of the biggest decisions for the day. The moment we came across Sophie’s work, we felt she was different, we loved how she captures a moment and a feeling of the day, not just a posed/stiff/traditional image.
Before the wedding Sophie communicated so well and was so reassuring about all elements of our day, it really felt like we were speaking to someone we knew when we chatted through what photos we might want and the ‘feel’ of our wedding. Every step felt so personal, and we really felt Sophie was invested in our day as much as we were.
On the day Sophie was perfect. She was calming and blended into the background, whilst still feeling like a really important presence. She made myself and Matt feel so relaxed in our couples sessions, and some of our favourite moments/memories of the day were during those photos.
Fast forward to just receiving our full wedding images. We are completely blown away. The images do not just show our day visually, but capture how myself, Matt and our guests felt. The warmth and happiness that Sophie has been able to show, feels literally like reliving our day every time we look through them. We couldn’t recommend Sophie more. If you pick her to be your photographer it will be the best Wedding decision you make!

Sophie is a super hero, and made our day super special. From the get go had everything organised from group shots to special photos with significant family members.
